believe it or not the time will come will the day will pass and you will not remember.

you won’t forget, but time clouds the days and nightmares.

Hi Leslie, it’s good to hear from you. Actually, this is the first time I’ve consciously marked the anniversary of his death, and it feels like a really positive thing. It just feels good to remember him. I know from the supportive response to my book last year that a lot of my dad’s old friends, and of course his family, still miss him and think of him often. I hope those who knew him might like seeing these pictures.

I read your book “the lost night”, Merced s my home town and I know the Sheriff’s Detectives that you met with to discuss your father’s murder. I and my former husband’s daughters are also wanting the shooting death of their father investigated who was found shot to death inside a Merced County Deputy Sheriff’s house in Merced County and this death was ruled a suicide without an autopsy. My former husband, his second wife and the same County Deputy Sheriff were all involved in frauds and illegal activities, his shooting death occurred in 1991 and we are still fighting for the truth in his murder cover up in order to cover up for frauds. A Merced City Police Officer had called me at work, I am a Nurse, to inform me that he had seen my former husband’s body and his death was not a suicide. Your book has given me the inspiration to begin writing on this very true story.
I have lived in Merced, off and on since the late forties. My mother brought me here as a baby.
