. . . last week on the syndicated public radio show Left, Right and Center (paraphrased):
Guest: . . . I think Kerry's trying to hide in plain sight from the voters until election day.
Host (in full seriousness): Wait a second, did you just make that up?
Guest: Make what up?
Host: "Hide in plain sight."
Guest: No, it's a cliché.
